Palm Drive: problem-solving lighting for a luxury home

The Brief
The client required a lighting scheme that would create differing moods in the various zones of the open plan living space of this family home. Additionally, it needed to accent artworks and complement the exceptional natural light and views ‘bringing the outside in’.
The Site
Occupying an enviable position on the edge of Tai Tam harbour, in a southern district of Hong Kong island, this recently remodelled colonial style house is part of a low rise development. It comprises 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, a large open plan living space, basement playroom and a vast terrace and glass frontage overlooking stunning waterside views.
