Re:light are thrilled that we have been part of not one but two projects shortlisted for prestigious property awards!
The 2021 Bristol Property Awards Finalists were announced recently, and our work is part of a design scheme by Wylde Interior Architecture shortlisted for the Transformation category. We’re especially delighted to be finalists as this year saw a record number of nominations.
The brief for the BAWA project was to create a new modern and professional environment in the tired and dated spaces, connecting the rooms together with a generous linking corridor. Wylde developed a scheme which transformed the Ballroom, Concorde Room and Reception area, making a very flexible and fluid space suitable for a conference or a wedding venue. The new reception area is welcoming, bright and modern.
Re-light complemented this with a modern yet classic lighting scheme that is highly adaptable to the changing function of the space as well as the time of day. It also adds dimension to the daring teal and gold colour scheme that interior architects Wylde used throughout the site. The winners will be announced on Friday 12th November!
We’ve also been shortlisted for the South West Insider Property Awards 2021 for our project at Wyke Farms in Wincanton, Somerset. Again, we were part of a design team led by Wylde Interior Architecture, appointed to develop and design a new reception and admin hub.
We created a modern scheme that reflected and enhanced the industrial look of the space – with its open ceilings and exposed ductwork. The lighting in the new reception accentuates the bright and welcoming environment that Wylde IA created. Feature lighting was used for the dramatic spiral staircase and reception area.
We designed unique focused lighting for display cabinets and the visitor ‘walk through’ area that uses curated photographs and other memorabilia to showcase the company’s journey from farmer to food brand.
This design is a finalist for the Fit-out & Refurbishment of the Year. We’ll know on 21st October if the Wylde design wins!
